first week

The first few meetings of my group seem to be going well. Each member contributes fairly equally to discussions and we progress through tasks pretty quickly. One thing that I think our group could do better is criticize the ideas of our peers. We seem to accept what everyone else says as true without really analyzing it individually. I assume this trait comes from forming a project group with people you don't know. Nobody wants to offend another member.

On a more positive note, one member of our team seems to have taken leadership roles one herself. I think that this might be beneficial since within a group's dynamics, it might be best to let each person fall into the category that they feel most comfortable, as opposed to forcing someone into an ill-fitted role.

Everyone read their assignment the first week and the members of my group seem to be getting along alright, so the general tone of this post it to say that everything is going A-ok.
